A:  小姐,昨天我在你这里买的手机,今天早上就不能开机了。
xiǎojie, zuótiān wǒ zài nǐ zhèlǐ mǎi de shǒujī, jīntiān zǎoshang jiù bùnéng kāijī le.
Miss, I bought this cell phone here yesterday, and then since this morning I can't get it to turn on.
B:  我看看。你有没有给手机充电?
wǒ kàn kan. nǐ yǒu méi yǒu gěi shǒujī chōngdiàn?
Let me take a look. Did you charge the cell phone?
A:  那当然,而且我按你说的,第一次充电足足充了12个小时。
nà dāngrán, érqiě wǒ àn nǐ shuō de, dì yī cì chōngdiàn zúzú chōng le shíèr ge xiǎoshí.
Yeah, of course! And I did what you said, charging it for a full 12 hours the first time.
B:  那会不会电池装反了?
nà huì bu huì diànchí zhuāng fǎn le?
Then could you have put the battery in upside backwards?
A:  我连电池都没取下来过,怎么可能装反?
wǒ lián diànchí dōu méi qǔ xiàlái guo, zěnme kěnéng zhuāng fǎn?
I never even took the battery out. How could I have put it in backwards?
B:  但是试机的时候都是好的,你也确认了。
dànshì shìjī de shíhou dōu shì hǎo de, nǐ yě quèrèn le.
But when we tested the phone it was fine. You confirmed it.
A:  可是今天就是开不了机。你说,该怎么办吧。
kěshì jīntiān jiùshì kāibùliǎo jī. nǐ shuō, gāi zěnme bàn ba.
Yes, but today it won't turn on. Tell me what I should do.
B:  那你只有拿到厂家去鉴定一下了。
nà nǐ zhǐyǒu ná dào chǎngjiā qù jiàndìng yīxià le.
Then you'll have to take it to the manufacturer to determine the problem.
A:  买的时候你们不是说,不满意7天内退货吗?我现在很不满意,要退货。
mǎi de shíhou nǐmen bùshì shuō, bù mǎnyì qī tiān nèi tuìhuò ma? wǒ xiànzài hěn bù mǎnyì, yào tuìhuò.
When I bought it, didn't you say that unsatisfied customers can get a refund within the first seven days? I'm very unsatisfied right now, and I want a refund.
B:  这个要按规定办,而且是有流程的。
zhè ge yào àn guīdìng bàn, érqiě shì yǒu liúchéng de.
This has to be done according to the rules, and there's a procedure for it.
A:  那你们这种服务口号不是白喊了吗?说了又做不到。
nà nǐmen zhèzhǒng fúwù kǒuhào bùshì bái hǎn le ma? shuō le yòu zuò bu dào.
Then isn't your service slogan totally meaningless? You say it, but then don't do it.
B:  先生,你这个手机必须先鉴定,然后我们再决定是退还是换。
xiānsheng, nǐ zhè ge shǒujī bìxū xiān jiàndìng, ránhòu wǒmen zài juédìng shì tuì háishi huàn.
Sir, this cell phone must first be inspected, after which we can decide whether to give a refund or a replacement.
A:  你这是什么态度啊,顾客是上帝,你知不知道?
nǐ zhè shì shénme tàidu a, gùkè shì shàngdì, nǐ zhī bu zhīdào?
What kind of attitude is that? The customer is god. Don't you know that?
B:  不好意思,我是无神论者。
bùhǎoyìsi, wǒ shì wúshénlùn zhě.
I'm sorry, but I'm an atheist.
A:  哦,那你们是想推脱责任?毛主席说过“哪里有压迫,哪里就有反抗!”
ò, nà nǐmen shì xiǎng tuītuō zérèn? Máo zhǔxí shuō guo" nǎli yǒu yāpò, nǎli jiù yǒu fǎnkàng!”
Oh, so you're trying to shirk your responsibilities? Chairman Mao said, "wherever there is oppression, there will be resistance!"
B:  现在是胡主席领导。
xiànzài shì Hú zhǔxí lǐngdǎo.
But now Chairman Hu is in charge.
A:  反正你们要给我个说法,我们消费者权益到哪儿去了。
fǎnzhèng nǐmen yào gěi wǒ ge shuōfa, wǒmen xiāofèizhě quányì dào nǎr qù le.
Anyway, you owe me an explanation. What happened to our consumer rights?
B:  先生,我们是商家。请你不要在这里喧哗,影响我们营业。
xiānsheng, wǒmen shì shāngjiā. qǐng nǐ bù yào zài zhèlǐ xuānhuá, yǐngxiǎng wǒmen yíngyè.
Sir, we're a retailer. Please don't cause a scene here. It affects our business.
A:  你别忘了,明天是三一五,消费者权益日。我要到电视、电台、报纸、网络上曝光你们。
nǐ bié wàng le, míngtiān shì sānyāowǔ, xiāofèizhě quányì rì. wǒ yào dào diànshì、 diàntái、 bàozhǐ、 wǎngluò shàng bàoguāng nǐmen.
Don't forget: tomorrow is March 15th, Consumer Rights Day. I'm going to expose you on TV, on the radio, in newspapers, and online.
B:  这样吧,先生,我打个电话问一下经理,看这事如何处理。
zhèyàng ba, xiānsheng, wǒ dǎ ge diànhuà wèn yīxià jīnglǐ, kàn zhè shì rúhé chǔlǐ.
How about this, sir. I'll make a call and ask my manager how to handle this matter.
A:  你早该这样了,害我说了那么多话,先给我一杯水。
nǐ zǎo gāi zhèyàng le, hài wǒ shuō le nàme duō huà, xiān gěi wǒ yī bēi shuǐ.
You should have done that a long time ago! You've made me go on and on... first give me some water.
