Personally, I feel that there are no shortcuts to learning a language. It mainly depends on whether you are willing to spend more time and effort studying. Some people may say that I am really too busy with work and couldn't find a large chunk of time to study. But actually I can use scraps of time here and there to remember new words and write characters.
